Stamp Tracks Fall 2016 celebrates events, mourns loss

stCeleb1The latest edition of our newsletter Stamp Tracks has hit the streets. This issue features many full-color photos of three recent events: the Tucson birthday stamp design contest party, the Star Trek stamp unveiling and fete, and the Slusser anniversary open house.

kohlWe also mourn the loss of Arizona Ranger, PHF board member, and regular volunteer, Bill Kohl. Treasuerer Ted Maynard, who worked closely with Bill, remembers him in a heart-felt tribute. We miss Harold W. (Bill) Kohl terribly, but we are thankful for his hard work, dedication to our foundation, his smile, and kindness to everyone.

Letters to Santa

cbNow through December 23, children (accompanied by an adult) are welcome to write their letter to Santa at the Postal History Foundation's Slusser Library. Christmas stamps will be available for purchase, and the children's letters can be mailed next door from our contract post office. We'll provide writing paper, pens, crayons, colored pencils, and stickers. Children can also create Christmas cards using old Christmas-themed postage stamps and glue sticks. Monday-Friday, 10-2. Please see schedule for periodic closures.
